Buenos Aires, April 6 (NA) – The father of lawyer Agostina Páez stated on Monday that his daughter is “very angry” about the video in which she makes “monkey” gestures in a bar in the city of Santiago del Estero, and stated: “I totally regret it.” “They insulted me, they tried to attack me, and I reacted very badly,” stated Mariano Páez in conversation with the Argentine News Agency, while also revealing: “That people was made to leave the bar.” After defending himself on Friday by asserting that it was a “faked” filming and that he “was not” the person appearing in the images, he added that the investigation initiated against him “is in process I suppose.” When asked if the audiovisual material could harm Agostina while she awaits the final ruling of the Brazilian justice system, he indicated: “I don’t know, I’m not a lawyer, but each person is responsible for their own actions. She paid for the mistake she made.”
The lawyer’s father showed remorse for the situation: “I feel very bad, I totally regret it.”
